Durham Seed to Supper Program Begins April 27th

The Inter-Faith Food Shuttle’s Urban Agriculture Education team is starting their Seed to Supper program on Saturday, April 27th from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Geer Street Learning Garden in Durham, North Carolina. The free 6-week long beginner garden education program will run through Saturday, June 1st and teach participants the tools they need to start a garden and grow their own food on a budget. Participants learn practical, low-cost techniques for building, planning, planting, maintaining and harvesting a successful vegetable garden. All materials needed for the class are provided. Participants must be able to commit to at least 4 out of the 6 classes, but participants are encouraged to attend all 6 sessions.
