Become a Cultivator and Sustain the Movement to End Hunger

The Food Shuttle wishes you a happy, healthy new year! For many of us, January brings new year's resolutions and renewed commitments to improve ourselves and our community. We might resolve to get more exercise, spend more time with family, eat more fruits and vegetables, or volunteer our time for a good cause. This year, you have the opportunity to make a positive change in both your life and our community by becoming an Inter-Faith Food Shuttle Cultivator!

Cultivators are monthly sustaining donors whose monthly gifts of $10 or more support our mission all year long. These loyal advocates of the Food Shuttle believe in our vision of a hunger-free community and partner with us in making that vision a reality. They are a diverse group with a variety of motivations for supporting our work.

Here are just a few of the reasons that other community members have chosen to support Inter-Faith Food Shuttle:

“Access to fresh, homegrown vegetables is a joy and an important contribution to both good health and environmental stewardship.”

“No child or family should do without the basic needs of life. Children need nourishment to learn and grow. I do not want a child of anyone to feel hungry.”

“I work with seniors and disabled adults living on limited incomes that depend on innovative ideas like bringing healthy foods to their communities.”

“I was a hungry child.”

“Gratitude for having enough food and wanting to share with those who need to be fed.”

Your own motivation for partnering with the Food Shuttle might be very similar to one of these, or it might be very different. Perhaps you are passionate about addressing the root causes of hunger that put our neighbors at risk in the first place. Maybe you are interested in community health education and providing our neighbors with the information they need to live healthier lives. Whatever your interest or passion, we hope that you will consider becoming a Cultivator and partnering with us to create a better, fairer, and more sustainable food system for all and end hunger in our community.
