Watch the Food Shuttle in Action!
Hear from Food Shuttle partners and community members about the change our school pantry and BackPack Buddies programs are affecting in our local community!
Inter-Faith Food Shuttle is an innovative hunger-relief organization serving seven counties in and around the Triangle. We believe hunger IS fixable if the community works together to do two things: create sources of healthy food in every low-income neighborhood and grow opportunities for people to provide for themselves by learning job skills or growing their own food. We feed, teach and grow to create a hunger-free and healthy community.
A 1-minute feel-good tour of the many ways YOUR SUPPORT helps Feed, Teach, and Grow to end hunger across the Greater Triangle. Thank you, from all of us at the Food Shuttle!

When IFFS started delivering produce through our Grocery Bags for Seniors program (http://bit.ly/1zhVbGd), the senior recipients, like Florence Calabrese, gladly changed their diets for the better!
Seniors often face a two-fold challenge to staying well-fed and nourished: 1) Funds to purchase food & 2) Mobility/Transportation to get to the store. IFFS's Grocery Bags for Seniors program (http://bit.ly/1zhVbGd) solves both issues by delivering fresh, healthy produce each month to seniors like Florence Calabrese.
After graduating from IFFS's Culinary Job Training Program, Kitty Banks quit "drinking and drugging," went back to school, and now proclaims that "my future is just wide open now."
Over 100 MILLION pounds of produce is left in the fields each year. IFFS's Gleaning program harvests extra produce and redistributes it to those in need. Reducing food waste and ending hunger go hand in hand. Learn more/sign up: http://foodshuttle.org/we-feed/how-do...
